Advanced Japanese Lifehacking

If I get some free time, I intend to make a nice little sum of money transcribing and publishing Japanese lifehack tips. There's a quiz show on every so often that features little ways to get around common household problems, and all the tips are worlds ahead of what we have in the west. Today:

-Revive wilted lettuce by soaking it in lukewarm water.

-Use an expandable plastic hangar bar to fit twice the shoes in the same rack.

-Get stains out of upholstery by putting potato chips on them, then rubbing them with a tissue (you can also spray it with WD-40 or a similar light oil).

-Make a perfect omlette by pouring the eggs on thin, and immediately killing the heat.
