Well, this is coming in late.
- What's the verdict on Danny's new costume? I like the idea, but I think the stormtrooper is a better fit. White plastic is pretty unmistakable for armor, and recalls the image of Shibuya's dance trooper, but any number of villains wear black leather and a cape. Still, it's not like I was wearing anything more creative, so I shouldn't talk.
- The addition of very odd, cute otaku girls was genius. I don't know who I liked better: the tall, green-dressed transexual, the pair of space pop stars, or the doll-sized voice actor. Seriously, these ladies livened things up a lot.
- When one singing brit youtuber girl goes home, another comes in to take her place. Okay, Kat is from New Zealand, not Britain, but the main divide is whether you have an accent that makes you sound unfairly intelligent or not.
- Good call on the Indian food.
The aforementioned transgender woman (we call them "nyuu-haafu" in Japan):
Some shit-talking on Twitter led Steve Nagata and I to a DSLR duel. Problem was, we didn't exactly know what that was. We ended up just taking a picture of each other and declaring our mutual dishonors avenged:
And my other 100 pictures are...where? Actually, those were the only two I took. I recently realized that since I was basically the most beautiful thing at the party, hiding this mug behind a camera just wasn't fair to the trigger-finger photo-otaku roaming the crowd :-) Collective photography below:
