I'll be teaching 8th grade Algebra, with an eye toward adapting a high school Geometry curriculum for middle schoolers. Definitely not what I expected when I signed on with TFA, but the principal is great and it's looking like a fun, challenging job.
Taught my last real lesson at institute today...we're reviewing tomorrow, taking the final Thursday, and then doing "enrichment" on Friday. The end is almost in sight...and then it's off to the real deal in August.
