I joined Kaiser when I started working as a teacher, and while I hate schlepping across the city to their big complex, I just discovered the 'email your doctor' feature on their site. It's fantastic! Yes, you have to click through a bunch of agreements, and yes, you have to log in each time to check messages, but I've saved myself 3 or 4 appointments by just shooting off quick questions to my doc.
I know Kaiser is supposed to be this huge, monolithic profit-centric beast, but I love it.
