A Japanese Guide to Git

Git is awesome, but has a bit of a learning curve– and apparently that holds true in Japan as well. I found this gem linked to on the Six Apart blog:

This monkey is looking at a bunch of files, and doesn't know which version is which. The suffixes for the filenames are things like 'newest', 'copy', etc.

These monkeys are sad because they're simultaneously editing the same files, and their changes are colliding.

Git provides version control to help organize file versions, manage changes, and keep the monkeys happy.

The full (adorable) guide can be found at backlog.jp/git-guide/. If you want to learn more about Git in English, without monkeys, there's a great guide at git-scm.com.
